What is a Licensed practical nurse?
"Licensed practical nurses (LPNs) are also known as licensed vocational nurses (LVNs) in California and Texas and as registered practical nurses (RPNs) in Ontario. They are called enrolled nurses (ENs) in Australia and state enrolled nurses (SENs) in the United Kingdom. LPNs generally have more training than certified nursing assistants, and less training than registered nurses." (Wikipedia)
Studying for LPN could break the ground for you for a nursing career.
However, licence requirements for nurses vary from one jurisdiction to another, and therefore, you should check if the LPN course would be acceptable for nursing training where you live or plan to work.
