If you're an avid reader of the Ranking and the MBA categories of this blog, you know that we sort institutions according to their reputation - the best ones, we claim, are usually brick-and-mortar programmes, that also cater traditional students.
A new press release from GetEducated.com confirms what we have written here:
"168 accredited colleges offer online or distance learning MBAs. Where can consumers find their best buys? According to a new survey by online education experts at GetEducated.com, the average cost for a regionally accredited distance MBA is $20,528. "But," warns educational analyst Vicky Phillips, consumers can pay as little as $7,000 or as much as $45,000." The best deals will go to consumers who choose public universities over a slew of pricey private alternatives. Premiering at the number one ranked "most affordable" spot this year is Chadron State College (Nebraska), a public institution with a modest cost of $7,065 for an online MBA degree regardless of the learner's state of residency."
